Art education & activities

Since September 2013, the art education department has been located in the renovated half-timbered house at Schlossberg 11. Among other things, this provides a seminar room, a printing workshop and a large studio for the museum’s educational work.

The programme is aimed at adults, children and adolescents and includes a wide range of activities such as workshops, courses, children's birthday parties, lectures and school holiday activities. One important field is the museum's work with kindergartens and schools. In addition to age-appropriate tours, activities are offered that focus on creatively experimenting with artistic techniques.

In the main building, art education has taken place since 2014 in the “project room”, where exhibitions are held presenting the results of school holiday courses, competitions and projects.
