Changing exhibitions
The permanent exhibition “Lyonel Feininger. Works from the Dr Hermann Klumpp collection” is accessible all year round. When changing from one special exhibition to another, some parts of the gallery need to be closed.
Barrier-free access
The Lyonel Feininger Gallery itself is wheelchair-accessible and about 500 m from the parking areas. The path is mainly cobbled or with sett paving. The entrance doors to the gallery do not open automatically. Inside the building, our exhibition rooms are accessible via a lift. Seating is available in the exhibition areas. Mobile folding chairs are also available when going around the museum. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the ground floor. A lift can be used to access our studio.
We will be happy to adapt the museum's educational content to your group’s needs. Simply get in touch with us!

Cloakroom & lockers
For insurance reasons, no rucksacks of any size, or large bags may be taken into the exhibition rooms.
Lockers are available near the entrance to safely store your items of clothing and bags. They are free to use, but some lockers require a 1-euro piece which is returned to you after their use. Bulky items of all kinds must be handed in, such as umbrellas, rucksacks and bags larger than DIN A3 (approx. 40 x 30 cm).
No liability is assumed for the cloakroom and the contents of the lockers.
