Research & collections

The Museum’s holdings comprise some 2,700 works in all. Ever since a cooperative project was agreed upon with the World Heritage town of Quedlinburg in 2017, the municipal copperplate collection has also been managed by the museum as a permanent loan, increasing its holdings by roughly 5,000 prints. Purchases, endowments and donations have enabled the collections of the museum of graphic art to be expanded, bringing roughly 500 new works to the museum since 2014.
